A Wither Blade isn't absolutely necessary for F7 (it is nice to have if you have coin), Spirit Sceptre is fine. You are going to need Cata 28. Also I suggest putting your Tuning Points on Speed so you clear faster. Not really, if you dont have a hyperion you are pretty much useless. in the boss fight you are more then useless since you block archers bones. If you want to play f7, as a mage you need hyperion. swap to archer or healer if you cant afford it.

I think that cata 22 is recommend to grind f6. Class doesn't really matter as much as cata lvl. Spirit scepter is the best for clearing after. Hyperion but you could also buy a yeti sword at cata 22 for minibosses.
