The modified heart shaped golden brooch is 2 1/16" long, 1 5/8" wide and the earrings are 1" long, 3/4" at their widest point.The patent number was filed by Alfred Philippe in 1936. According to 'Warman's Costume Jewelry' not all Clipmates' made 1936-1937 bore the KTF mark and that some early examples only had a patent number. Both clips are marked Trifari in the elongated lettering style of early Trifari. Width is 2 3/4 inches.
