Following up on the dim generator light issue on my 1964 4020 diesel, open station tractor from last night. After doing some more checking, it became obvious that there still had to be a resistor in the circuit of the generator light.4020 starting problems. My '64 4020, has issues with not turning over fast enough to start. Reasonably new starter, new batteries 550 cca, new cable clamps. Had a mech. look at it, and came down to ground strap corrosion.
