The 41st annual John Woodruff 5K Run & Walk will be held at 7 p.m. July 12. The race will begin on Arch St. in front of Connellsville Stadium and will continue the traditional course backwards until reaching Isabella Rd. The race will end on the track in Connellsville Stadium. Registration is $20 if postmarked by July 7 and $25 after July 7.

The tradition continues with the 25th annual John Woodruff 5K. The first race drew 100-plus to the course which started and ended close to Connellsville Stadium. The event now draws close to 500 participants and race organizers hope to get it back up to nearly 2,000.
