Ditch the teed return line. That isn't doing you any good. Now connect it to the vent fitting that vents the rear (tallest) part of the tank so that the fuel is actually circulating back to the tank. Now connect the front tank vent to the main tank vent high up in the fender near where it joins the filler neck.The fuel return (is 5/16" hose) and the vent / rollover is 1/4" hose. Replacing fuel check-valve on Wrangler. My wrangler doesn't start on the first try anymore. I turn the key and it just cranks. I wait a second and boom, it starts right up. It was suggested that my fuel check valve has gone bad and needs to be replaced. As far as I can tell, that check valve is in the top of the gas tank. Another lesser known factor one reaps when the return line recirculates unused fuel back to the tank is that the fuel doesn't get heat soaked setting in the line to get used. The engine "grabs what it needs" and sends the unused back to the cool gas tank for recirculation...less chance for engine vapor lock.
