Seems like the Juno/Jupiter area has been producing a few more fish on the afternoon bite. From the beach it's the usual baits (Sandfleas, clams, fresh shrimp, and FishBites) producing the most bites. On the Juno Beach Pier the same baits will catch the pomps; with Doc's Goofy Jigs and Crappie jigs tipped with shrimp also catching a good numbers.From the Juno Beach Pier a white crappie jig is the top lure choice for the Mackerel. Mixed in with the Spanish Mackerel will be some bluefish and jacks. The same lures will work for the jacks and bluefish. A pretty good number of croaker and whiting in the first trough over the past week. The Juno Beach Pier is a full-service saltwater fishing pier. It contains a pier house, guest service, gift shop, snack bar and fishing pole rentals and bait. The pier is open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Before entering the pier you pay your entrance fee, $1 for spectators and $4 if you are fishing.

Look for 150-300' of water to remain a pretty effective depth range to target. While you may find some fish out deeper; for the most part the deep side of the edge is a good place to start. Kingfish remind scattered along the 120' ledge in good numbers.
